The Port of Antwerp is the largest port in Belgium and the second largest in Europe. In 2020, the port of Antwerp had a container throughput of around 12 million TEU. Our container depot is located in Antwerp and provides you with the complete range of empty container depot services. With our strong and efficient team, CCIS Belgium offers container storage, container handling, container repair next to container sales as well as special preparation of your container e.g., flexi tank and mobile repair services.

About CCIS Belgium
You can access our depot in Antwerp via road, barge and train. Eleven empty container handlers will lift your equipment in the right way on a surface of 150,000 m². 22,000 TEU can be stored on our depot site.

Like our other european entities, CCIS Belgium has implemented the depot software Containerchain to automate and standardise operational processes to increase the efficiency. This depot software allows us to measure operational performance indicators e.g., turn-times, average repair costs or movement activities to optimize our service to be always one step ahead.
A key unique customer support function is our technical department: Our technical team ensures that the repair criteria are uniformly adhered to at all locations. In addition, our technical division has already developed several inspection and repair manuals to ensure the optimal and uniform repair of your containers. Furthermore, our technical department is in constant dialogue with our customers to provide cost-efficient solutions.

Our container depot in Antwerp has a well-organised and clear traffic routing. This leads to even more efficient container handling.
Flexi tank service
CCIS Belgium supplies and installs all types of flexi tanks. The bulk packaging for non-hazardous liquids can be supplied in capacities from 18 to 24 m³. We can also advise you on the suitability and use of the flexi tanks. We can then provide you with an appropriate quotation.
You can take advantage of the entire depot-to-terminal full service or just the parts of the package that you need:
- Quality inspection of the suitable containers
- Installation of the flexi tanks
- Transport from the depot to terminal
- Professional assistance with loading and unloading
- Pumping service: transferring a liquid cargo from tank containers and tank trucks into flexi tanks. The special diaphragm pump we use for this is ATEX-approved and has a pulsation damper, a stroke counter and a backflush system.
CCIS Belgium also offers various other services for flexi tanks, such as the removal and environmentally friendly disposal of flexi tanks and the reloading of cargo residues into the appropriate and clean IBC containers.
