CCIS France goes hybrid
December 20, 2023In line with the decarbonization goal set by the CMA CGM Group, CCIS France has ordered the first hybrid ECH (Empty Container Handler).
Capable of transporting two containers at the same time, the ECH will cut carbon emissions by 35% when running on diesel and by 90% when running on HVO100 (bio diesel).
This first hybrid ECH, inaugurated on Thursday December 14 at the CCIS France site in Port Saint Louis du Rhône, will be tested in real-life conditions to become the new CCIS handling vehicle.
