CCIS opens its first fully-owned depot in the United States
December 23, 2021Last week, CMA CGM became the first shipping company to set up its own dedicated depot in the US, with the inauguration of CCIS Joliet in Chicago.
The first, near-2-hectare container facility ideally situated in Chicago between two rail ramps will be operated jointly with CEVA Logistics and will offer a range of services, including storage, and container and chassis maintenance & repair (M&R).
