CCIS container technical department and their impact on our services

The european CCIS Depots, as a pilot, introduced a container technical department to take care of aligning the M&R processes in the individual depots so that the same quality and price standards apply everywhere. Our recently introduced technical manual for the inspection of standard containers should help all colleagues to apply the quality standards correctly and economically.

We spoke to the head of our technical department about the tasks and plans.

We as technical department take care of aligning the M&R processes in the individual european depots of CCIS so that the same standards apply everywhere. Our recently introduced technical manual for the inspection of standard containers should help all colleagues to apply the quality standards correctly and economically.

What are you currently planning?

We are currently working on a technical manual for the inspection and repair of refrigerated containers. This is a huge project. The manual will also include instructions for repair in addition to the inspection criteria. In addition, after recently setting up our own reefer team, we now want to set up such a team in other locations. In addition, we naturally want to continue to professionally train all inspectors in the cluster, which always takes a lot of time. But it is always great fun for all of us!
